O ambiente dentro da escola é muito confortável e acolhedor , eu sentia que já fazia parte daquele lugar . Eu mergulhei de cabeça na sala de aula , a Cecília foi ótima em tudo como professora,e aprender espanhol em tão pouco tempo , me deu ainda mais energia para continuar aprendendo daqui no Brasil. E é claro que comprei o livro 2 , estudo em casa todos os domingos agora , tenho o dia todo só para estudar espanhol. Recomendo a você uma imersão e a mudança de país mesmo que somente duas semanas . Bueno, estar en Expanish me retó a enfrentarme a lo nuevo, a salir de mi zona de confort. El ambiente dentro de la escuela es muy cómodo y acogedor; me sentí como en casa. Me sumergí de lleno en el aula. Cecilia fue excelente en todos los aspectos como profesora, y aprender español en tan poco tiempo me dio aún más energía para seguir aprendiendo aquí en Brasil. Y, por supuesto, compré el libro número 2. Ahora estudio en casa todos los domingos; tengo todo el día solo para estudiar español. Recomiendo un programa de inmersión y un cambio de país, aunque solo sea por dos semanas.

Занимался 14 месяцев на вечерних курсах, сейчас разговариваю на испанском В основном, учился у Шанины (Yanina) - она большой профессионал с хорошим чувством юмора. Я буду скучать по её занятиям❤️ В школе лёгкая атмосфера и много открытых людей. Я снова окунулся в студенческие годы, познакомился с яркими и вдохновляющими людьми. Самой сложной частью учёбы мне показалось оформление студенческой визы, однако администрация оперативно помогала с документами. Спасибо головному офису и Габриэлю! Это было прекрасное время.

The various activities organized daily by the school make settling in much easier. You constantly meet new people and there are students of all age groups. I‘ve always felt very comfortable! The entire staff is professional, helpful, flexible and always in a good mood. Thanks to all for this unforgettable experience!

Внеурочные языковые и культурные мероприятия действительно помогают живому погружению в язык. Experiencia fantástica: I studied at Expanish in Buenos Aires for six months, starting at A1 and finishing at C1. The progress I made over that time really reflects the quality of the school and the teaching. The teachers were excellent: knowledgeable, approachable and full of energy. Special mention to Pablo, Mariana, Liliana and Rosana and all the other teachers, who all made classes engaging and encouraged us to speak as much as possible from the very beginning. It was clear from the start that the teachers had a genuine interest in the students' learning and all had their unique style which gave me a rounded learning experience. The wider school staff were also a big part of the experience. They organised regular activities that helped us practise Spanish outside the classroom and get to know both the city and other students. I took part in asados, wine bar events, cooking and mate classes, cultural walks around Buenos Aires and dance classes, all of which made learning more social and practical. There was a strong culture of using Spanish at all times, not just during lessons. Staff consistently encouraged us to communicate in Spanish, which made a real difference to my fluency. I now live in Buenos Aires, and thanks to my time at Expanish I have no issues handling most situations that require Spanish in daily life. I would highly recommend the school to anyone looking for a truly immersive language learning experience!

Experiencia fantástica: Very pleasant and well organized mid sized Spanish language school in the Buenos Aires neighbourhood of Palermo. Nice set of extra-curricular activities and excursions available (with assistance of the admins where needed). They use the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (A1 through C2) and the Aula / AulaPlus text books. Recommended! Escuela de español de tamaño medio muy agradable y bien organizada, situada en el barrio de Palermo, en Buenos Aires. Ofrece un buen programa de actividades extracurriculares y excursiones (con la ayuda del personal administrativo cuando es necesario). Utiliza el 'Common European Framework of Reference for Languages' (de A1 a C2) y los libros de texto de Aula / AulaPlus. ¡Recomendable!

Experiencia fantástica: Hola! This is Augustine. I studied my Spanish in the Espanish school in Buenos Aires and I really had a very good experienced there. The school is really well organized and with dedicated staff. They will help you learn the Spanish course as fast as you want. I want to recommend this school to anyone out there who is looking for a place to learn Spanish easier and faster. *Para mí, lo que realmente hace que Expanish sea especial es que te quita el miedo de inmediato. Llegas y ya tienes un grupo de amigos y un plan para la tarde; te sientes "en casa" aunque estés a miles de kilómetros de distancia. Los profesores son increíbles: te enseñan el español auténtico, el que se habla en la calle, con mucha paciencia y buena energía. Si buscas aprender de verdad, pero sobre todo, disfrutar de Buenos Aires sin sentirte como un turista perdido, este es el lugar ideal.

Experiencia fantástica: I spent three weeks at Expanish Buenos Aires and absolutely loved it! My Spanish improved so much in such a short time. The school environment was amazing — the teachers were super supportive, passionate and made every class fun. I always felt very well taken care of and I met so many wonderful people along the way. I booked my accommodation through the school and stayed in a homestay with Eugenia — it was fantastic. The activities outside of class were also great and really helped me experience the city. Honestly, I can’t say anything other than that I had the most beautiful time there. I would do it all over again and recommend Expanish to everyone! BIG THANKS <3

Experiencia fantástica: The school is by far the best kind of education I had in my life. Everyone of the staff is friendly and interested in your wellbeing, that it literally almost felt like a family to stay at Expanish. Every teacher I had (Roxana, Cecilia, Analia, Carlos) over the four weeks seemed more than capable of teaching and always made shure keep lessons interesting, engaging and personal. When I had personal preferences to change the course due to different levels of spanish, Gabriel tried his best to assure that I would feel happy and sufficiently demanded in a different course. The receptionstaff was always interested in helping and assisting where they could. I would warmly recommend anyone the school, because the intense engaging in the language and structured teaching actually improved my spanish in only 4 weeks (which would never be possible in secondary school). The school offers a lot of activities which are fun and offer easy socialization with other students as well as teachers. It's hard to express how grateful I feel for visiting the school, everyone was so incredibly lovely!!! Just go there!!! (And don't listen to bad feedback, those were personal and individual problems that don't apply to the great majority of participants and don't represent the hospitable character of the school)

Experiencia fantástica: While I was living in Buenos Aires, I studied Spanish at Exspanish for nearly a year. When I initially started I could barely understand or speak Spanish, after completing several courses at this great school I can confirm that I reached the level of “bastante bien”. The location, ambience and teachers at the school are all sheer lovely. I can also add that it is very international, so I got to meet enthusiastic and intelligent people from all around the world. I highly recommend this school.

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately had to cancel my course because my dog needed surgery and I had to cancel my trip. It was 2 months before my course date and I provided them with a letter from the Vet but they would not even consider a refund, which I think is very unreasonable. It’s a shame because I had a good experience with Expanish in the past but after this event where they have been very obstructive I wouldn’t go back to their school again. Edit on 24 October - I will add that their reply that they did refund me is correct however this was done AFTER this review was written and AFTER a few weeks of emailing them to request a refund (and them being very unreasonable and it)

Experiencia fantástica: I spent 2 months at Expanish Buenos Aires as part of my university degree. I had an exceptional experience and can't fault it in any way! This isn't the first language school I've attended and something that I think is very unique about this school is the number of free trips, workshops, and nights out they do which give you opportunities to get to know the other students. This includes a very useful welcome tour every Monday to help you get settled in (e.g. getting SIM card, SUBE card & advice on getting cash at Western Union). All of the teachers, staff, & the director Gabriel were incredibly kind and helpful!! Something else I really appreciated was how LGBTQ+ friendly the school was!

Experiencia fantástica: Had a great experience at Expanish! I was a total beginner and within two weeks I’m now able to do some basic communication. Really enjoyed my classes with Cecilia and Sonia! Experiencia fantástica: Ich hatte eine richtig tolle Zeit an der Schule und kann sie nur weiterempfehlen! Der Unterricht bei Pablo war super. Er hat es geschafft, die Stunden interessant, verständlich und gleichzeitig total entspannt zu gestalten. Ich hab echt viel gelernt und es hat viel Spaß gemacht. Gabriel, der Koordinator, ist super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Maru und Vilu von der Rezeption sind einfach die Besten. Es hat immer Spaß gemacht, mit ihnen zu quatschen, und sie haben die Schule noch ein Stück besonderer gemacht. Die Atmosphäre in der Schule ist total angenehm, man fühlt sich schnell wie ein Teil der Community. Es werden regelmäßig coole Events organisiert, bei denen man nicht nur die Stadt besser kennenlernen kann, sondern auch viele neue Leute trifft. Die Lage der Schule ist top, das Gebäude ist schön und die Räume sind hell und einladend. Ich bin echt dankbar für die Zeit dort und die vielen lieben Menschen, die ich kennenlernen durfte und werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!!

Experiencia positiva: Hice 3 semanas de clases y me pareció increíble la oportunidad de hacer un intercambio. La profesora Sandra es muy simpática, activa y lleva la clase con mucha facilidad, haciendo que la lección sea ligera y dinámica. Como mejoras para la escuela: 1. El primer día de clase se dijo que los retrasos solo serían aceptados hasta 15 minutos; sin embargo, en mi clase, varios días los chicos que son estadounidenses y un alemán llegaban mucho más tarde de esos 15 minutos, interrumpiendo la lección. 2. Grupo grande: mi clase tenía 12 alumnos y, muchas veces, no tenemos tanta conversación debido a la cantidad de estudiantes, y algunos se quedan todo el tiempo en el celular, retrasando la clase. 3. La disposición del aula: para quienes se sientan al fondo, muchas veces es difícil ver lo que está escrito en la pizarra o lo que se muestra en la computadora. 4. Sería interesante tener una prueba al final del curso o los viernes para verificar si el alumno está progresando. 5. Mejorar la información sobre algunas actividades: cómo funcionan, horarios, etc. Tener más información de la escuela para el alumno. 6. En actividades que involucran comida, ofrecer opciones vegetarianas. Hoy hubo asado y no participé porque creo que era solo carne; si había opción vegetariana, tampoco se informó. 7. También sería interesante que al final del curso se ofrecieran clases en línea para que podamos continuar estudiando. Para finalizar, algo que me dejó bastante molesta: cuando llegué a Buenos Aires, debido al frío, tuve una reacción alérgica y mucha tos, prácticamente desde el día 10 hasta hoy, día 25, estuve un poco mal todos los días. Como no traje muchos medicamentos, tomé los que tenía y fui mejorando, pero, lamentablemente, no llegué a estar al 100% y terminé teniendo una crisis de tos en clase. Para no interrumpir, salí del aula y fui a la cocina a beber agua y prepararme un té para sentirme mejor. En las mesas del último piso había dos personas: una que me parece que era profesora, de cabello corto y rizado, y otra mujer morena. Después de que salí del aula y me quedé en la cocina con esa crisis de tos, la primera se levantó, tomó un aerosol de Lysoform y lo roció en el camino por donde yo había pasado. Yo trabajo en el área de la salud y jamás pondría en riesgo la salud de alguien si estuviera con algo contagioso como un virus o una bacteria. Como mencioné al principio, tengo alergia al frío y vine de Buenos Aires. Me pareció totalmente innecesaria esa actitud y considero que no debería ser el comportamiento de una empleada

Experiencia fantástica: Realizei um curso de 2 semanas na Expanish em Buenos Aires em Setembro/2023. Adorei o curso, a professora, o espaço (a escola fica localiza num bairo excelente) e os passeios culturais realizados no período da tarde.

Experiencia positiva: Ótima escola com muitas atividades para aprendizado de idioma, integração com outros alunos e a cidade. Para todas as idades. Só é necessário atenção ao processo de nivelamento. Me alocaram duas vezes em turmas erradas.

The faculty is very organized and friendly, and it’s a great place to meet other people of all ages. There are also tons of events/ parties that involve learning about (and tasting) so much argentine cuisine. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Experiencia fantástica: Incredible experience at the best Spanish school in Buenos Aires. The facilities are well-kept, the classrooms are old but nice, and they have a gorgeous terrace and backyard. Every teacher I had (Sandra, Cecilia, Mariana, and Carlos) was personable, supportive, and challenging. They weren't afraid to bring their unique interests to the class and had excellent and crisp Argentinian accents. Having been to a variety of Spanish classes in other parts of the world, I can confidently say that Expanish is the best one I've had so far. I would give a high recommendation to my friends and to any serious learners of the language. Lastly, I want to give a huge shoutout to the front staff (Violeta and Marina), and Gabriel (the Director) for making sure every student is welcomed and accomodated for! I enjoyed my 6 week study and will return next time I'm in Buenos Aires!

Experiencia negativa: Eu não tive uma boa experiência com a escola. Primeiro que eles te vendem uma acomodação para partilhar apartamento com Host e te colocam em uma Homestay que não te deixa nem cozinhar na hora do almoço porque ela já tem que fazer comida para os outros estudantes. Ela foi um amor de pessoa comigo, mas não fiquei confortável na casa. Segundo que você termina o curso e tem que ficar implorando para receber o certificado. Já fazem duas semanas que terminei o curso e ainda não recebi, sendo que falaram que mandariam em 1 semana. Eu já fiz curso de línguas em outro pais e a experiência foi muito diferente.

Experiencia fantástica: A really wonderful school! Great staff, I loved my teacher Claudia. I also love how Expanish has lots of extracurricular activities. They are conveniently located in a charming townhouse in Palermo. I showed up in Buenos Aires knowing not one person (nor a word of Spanish), and within a month at Expanish I now have a wonderful group of friends, and I am able to converse in simple basic Spanish. If you are an adult wanting to learn Spanish at any level, and have a lot of FUN in Buenos Aires then I definitely recommend Expanish!

Experiencia fantástica: Une super école dans laquelle la joie et la convivialité sont au centre des activités. Les professeurs sont géniaux et savent nous faire aprendre de manière ludique. J'y étais 2 mois et j'ai passé 2 niveaux. Le personnel de la réception est toujours là pour nous quand nous avons besoin. Les femmes de ménages sont également très gentilles et s'assurent de nous offrir en lieu propre. Oui on paille l'école un certain prix mais le nombre d'activités gratuites et d'avantage que nous bénéficions ainsi qu'un bon niveau scolaire explique le prix. Le seul point négatif à noté c'est de devoir payer 32€ le livre de travail à chaque fois que nous changeons de niveau. C'est une école donc il est logique qu'on évolue et qu'on change de niveau... le payer 1 fois je comprend, mais à chaque fois.... sachant que c'est la suite logique de progresser en espagnol.... je trouve ça limite. Je tiens à remercier tous le personnel, ces 2 mois à Expanish furent une aventure extraordinaire!

I really liked my instructor (Dolores), and my time here helped me form a strong foundation upon which I’ve been building as I continue my travels in South America. The school building itself is also quite nice, and everything ran smoothly administratively in my experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Super Sprachschule im Herzen von Buenos Aires! Ich habe vier Wochen einen Intensivkurs besucht (Gruppenunterricht + Privatunterricht) - es war eine super Erfahrung! Danke an meine Lehrerinnen Franco, Alicia, Roxana und Sandra! Man arbeitet mit einem Spanischbuch aus Spanien, lernt also nicht nur argentinisches Spanisch, sondern auch die Unterschiede und überhaupt sind die Kurse ein guter Mix aus Praxisübungen, Grammatik, Spielen und Co. Habe mich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt, super betreut und das schöne Gebäude mit dem gemütlichen Garten wurde zum zweiten Zuhause. Muchas Gracias!

Experiencia fantástica: It was a great experience for me to take Spanish classes for 2 weeks at Expanish. I´m at intermedio level and my objective was to refresh my Spanish skills. The school exceeded my expectations. The level was quite high, comparable to my classes at University. I had a great teacher (Mariana) and I can truly say, I´ve learned a lot in two weeks. The school is located in a beautiful building, it has a nice atmosphere and the entire staff is super nice an welcoming. Expanish Buenos Aires is highly recommended.

La calidad cultural de las clases me gustó mucho; no solo mejoré mi español, sino que también pude aprender sobre la cultura porteña, la cinematografía y la literatura argentina. The intake process was smooth and I loved my teacher—I was only there for one week but I still made progress with my Spanish. And I made friends with my classmates! 10/10 would love to go back again!

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed our spanish courses at Expanish Buenos Aires. The environment is lovely, warm and inviting. In addition to the classes, the school offers lots of free activities for students to participate in ( tours, cooking classes, dance classes, intercambios, etc). My husband and I are in our 60's and have had a great time learning and participating in the school activities. I highly recommend Expanish for people of all ages. It has been a fantastic experience!

Experiencia fantástica: I spent two weeks with Expanish and enjoyed the experience very much. Yanina was my teacher. She was great. Yanina was engaging, patient and very supportive of all of us. My Spanish has definitely improved. The school organizes social activities outside of class. It is fun meeting and getting to know people from all over the world. Finally, the school is located in a very nice part of the city near a subway station.

Das Paket aus persönlicher Betreuung, Top-Unterricht (mit vielen Wort-„Geschenken“ von Prof. Carlos), einer gewissen Leichtigkeit und zugleich Ernsthaftigkeit aller an der Schule, dem modern/historischen Gebäude samt Garten, dem lässigen Stadtviertel, dem internationalen SchülerInnenmix bis hin zum Kaffee - es war perfekt. Experiencia fantástica: Ich würde die Expanish jederzeit wieder besuchen und hoffe, dass ich das in der Zukunft auch kann. Die Schule liegt in einer tollen Gegend, das Gebäude ist sehr gut erhalten und es gibt einen kleinen Garten für die Pause. Ich habe hier Bildungsurlaub gemacht und kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen. Mein Kurs mit Carlos war sehr gut, zusätzlich hatten wir un Curso de conversación am Nachmittag. Die Schule bietet zudem viele kostenlose Nachmittagsaktivitäten an wie Museumstouren, Besuch des San Telmo Markts etc!

Experiencia negativa: During my stay at Expanish, I thoroughly enjoyed the classes and appreciated the staff. I even made a friend there. However, I am deeply disappointed with a teacher named Pablo and the dean, Gabi. I requested a private class with Pablo, as he is an expert in grammar, but it has been four weeks and neither he nor Gabi have responded to any of my messages or requests, despite my visiting the school on several occasions. This lack of communication reflects poorly on the school's customer service and suggests an inability to handle even simple requests—especially those that could financially benefit the school.

Experiencia fantástica: Fiz o curso durante 2 semanas nesta escola (15 a 30 de agosto de 2024), e posso dizer que foi uma das melhores experiências da minha vida.Eles priorizam a comunicação, entao as aulas sao leves e divertidas. Os professores sao muito bons e sabem passar o conteudo. Tudo é muito organizado. Alem das aulas normais tem varios passeios e aulas culturais.Me senti muito acolhida pelos professores e por toda a equipe.  Fiz amizades com pessoas do mundo todo e de varias idades. Realmente foi uma imersao no espanhol. Recomendo demais essa escola, ainda quero ter a oportunidade de voltar. Experiencia fantástica: I had an amazing time studying at Exspanish in Buenos Aires and plan to return in the future to further improve my Spanish. This was my first time I studying a foreign language in a classroom setting and I was very pleased. The staff, teachers, facilites, and afternoon/evening events all made the experience unforgettable. I tested in at a B1 level and did classes for a month, four hours per day, Mon-Fri. I came home feeling much more confident in my comprehension and ability to speak. The classes were the perfect mix of grammar, conversation, and discussion amongst the students. I don’t think there was a single day where I felt bored with the material. If you’re considering starting your Spanish learning journey or taking it to the next level, you can’t go wrong with this school.

The classes were fun and my Professor, Sonia was really welcoming and made every day in class fun. Experiencia fantástica: Overall an excellent experience, not only because the courses offered matched well with my daughter's Spanish knowledge (she is 17). Because she was going to miss the last day of classes because previous commitment, the course manager offered alternatives to make up for the lost day. These alternatives included personalized one-to-one classes that she took and was happy with. The facilities are well located in a residential safe area with walking distance to many amenities such as restaurants and shops, perfect for witnessing every day life in BA and fits well with the immersion in Argentina experience. Much of the experience highly depends on the group of students and instructors and in both cases, the experience has been excellent in that students were grouped with similar Spanish level and instructors proved to be very well trained and adept to keep the spirit and engagement through a 4 hr/day class. There are post classes social activities at the facilities or hosted a nearby eatery or places of interest. Overall, a really good immersive experience that it is worth repeating, particularly for those above 16.

Experiencia positiva: The school is well run and organized and the lessons are tailored to a clear structured framework . Levels A1-C2 , with resources , that you purchase . It is very difficult on a short term 1-2 week schedule to slot people into levels . For me, for the week I would do private classes , so they can help support and revise previous content . A escola é bonita, organizada e bem localizada, tem atividades extras nas quais podemos conhecer melhor os colegas e suas culturas enquanto nos aprofundamos nos conhecimentos da língua espanhola e sobre a Argentina. Experiencia fantástica: Eu tive uma experiência de 1 mês de intercâmbio em junho de 2024, optei pelas aulas em grupo de 20 horas, e foi uma experiência incrível, eu tive aula com o professor Carlos Bevilacqua, as aulas eram dinâmicas, com música, vídeos e muita conversação. Experiencia fantástica: Amazing experience at Expanish! I’ve been studying here for 9 months. I came with an A2 level and finished at B2/C1. The lessons were really interesting and well-organized, and I was always excited to go to school. It was wonderful to practice Spanish with people from different countries and make friends along the way. The atmosphere was always friendly and gave each student personal attention. We loved the BBQ events organized at the school:) The location is great, just a few minutes away from the Subte and surrounded by lots of cafes. I want to say thank you to my teacher Carolina and thank you to Gabriel for the support and organization!

Experiencia fantástica: Tive a oportunidade de estudar por quatro semanas na Expanish Buenos Aires e foi uma ótima experiência. Fui muito bem recebida, as aulas são ótimas (com muita interação) e tive contato com pessoas de diversas partes do mundo e línguas diferentes Iniciei e concluí o nível A2 neste período que estive lá. As atividade extras me fizeram mergulhar na língua espanhola e na cultura portenha de uma forma mais intensa, pude fazer visitações em alguns pontos da cidade, aulas de dança (ritmos latinos), aula de mate e pude participar de dois asados argentinos, dentre outras atividades. O clima da escola é muito bom e as atividades são bem organizadas. Super recomendo, pois é uma forma imersiva e leve de se aprender espanhol.

Experiencia positiva: I thought the school was well organised and I like how contactable they were. It was a great environment and was a very comfortable place to learn - made by both teachers and other students. I thought having to purchase text books on top of the price for lessons etc was surprisingly as the school isn’t cheap compared to others in Buenos Aires as well as needing a different book for each level - meaning within 2 weeks I needed two different books. For the second week I was able to borrow one but this didn’t seem as possible for people spending longer durations at the school so this is something which could be looked into - particularly as a lot of students were travelling and therefore didn’t have room/ money for the books.

Experiencia fantástica: Expanish is a great place to study Spanish. The building where the school is located is beautiful, and the neighborhood is also great. Regarding the course, the classes and teachers are excellent. I gained a lot of confidence in the language in just 6 weeks and felt like each week was a huge progress. I'd also love to point out that the staff is super friendly and helpful; they organize free activities to promote community and show the city around. Experiencia positiva: Ich machte anfangs Februar für 3 Wochen einen Spanischkurs bei Exspanish. Alle Lehrer waren super nett und herrschte immer eine gute Stimmung in der Schule. Ich habe meine Zeit dort sehr genossen. +Sonja war eine super Lehrerin +Schön und modern eingerichtete Schule +Schule liegt in einem schönen Stadtviertel +Meine Gastfamilie war super nett und der es war eine super Möglichkeit in Buenos Aires anzukommen. Für mehr als 1-2 Wochen würde ich den Aufenhalt bei einer Gastfamilie aber nicht empfehlen da es doch sehr teuer ist. +Die von Exspanish organisierten Stadttouren waren immer sehr interessant und super um ander Schüler kennenzulernen. -Klassen waren z.T. eher zu gross (10 Schüler -Zum Teil ein wenig chaotisch und unorganisiert -Wie bei wahrscheinlich jeder Sprachschule war die Einteilung in die verschiedenen Klassen nicht immer perfekt. Jede Woche kamen neue Schüler in unsere Klasse, weshalb das Spanischniveau zu Teil unterschiedlich war. -Den Flughafen Transfer den ich über Exspanish gebucht habe hat leider nicht funktioniert. Der Fahrer war nicht zur richtigen Zeit dort, weshalb ich per Taxi zu meiner Gastfamilie gefahren bin. Das Geld das ich für den Transfer bezahlt habe wurde mir aber von Exspanish zurückerstattet. -Insgesamt relativ teuer.

Experiencia positiva: I enjoyed my time at ExPanish even though I was the oldest student there. Because I’m older, I learn slower so had a hard time keeping up, but I did learn and my notes help me remember. The teacher was good, the class kept moving. It was fun. I liked the building and the atmosphere. I really liked the conversation classes, wish I had more of them. One thing is that for beginners, instruction should be in English after Spanish. I had an especially difficult time understanding the dialect of Argentinian Spanish. The teacher did this for me after I requested. Also, allow time for students to learn new materials and then practice what they learned. Maybe incorporate more conversation in four hour class using new words and information. Review time at the beginning of each class to recap yesterday’s lessons. People who missed can catch up. I made these suggestions because I was trained as a teacher to teach English as a foreign language. Overall, it was a good experience for me and makes me want to continue learning Spanish.
